Ridenhour Reunion

Ok, so I know that was a really lazy post. I just wanted to get these pictures on and I didn't have a lot of time. But I have had a request to give a little more info. so here it goes. This past summer all of my siblings and I got together for the first time in almost 10 years. It was so nice to see everyone. We have all seen each other at different times over the years but not all together. All of the grandchildren but two were able to come also which was really nice. We all missed Doug's boys Tyler and Zachary and hope they will be about to come out soon and that it won't be another 10 years before we all get together again.This is my youngest sister Mary's beautiful little girl Sofia.

School starts Monday, so our last summer outing was a climb to Timpanogos cave up American Fork Canyon. Even Addison hiked the majority of the 31/2 mile round trip.

Lagoon

We took a trip to Lagoon on the 24th and we had a really nice time. It was incredibly hot but when it got so bad we couldn't take it any more we headed for Lagoona Beach. We were afraid that since it was a hoiday it might be really crowded but I think there were probably fewer people then usual. They even had fireworks which was great because I don't think my kids had forgiven me for missing the fireworks on the 4th.Addi trying on her brothers goggles.

No this isn't Carter with Morri and Alex, it's Carter's friend Issac that came with us. As I'm looking at this picture I'm wondering why I decided to put it on our blog for everyone to see. Maybe because it is the only one of me from Lagoon but now that I look at it I'm wishing I hadn't posted it. In fact if I knew how to take it off without canceling the whole post I would but I don't so you'll just have to love me inspite of the picture.

Spotlight

We had to do a family spotlight for our ward to hang up in the foyer. I thought it was so cute that I wanted to take a picture of it before we took it apart.

Family Bike Rides

Going down the Provo River Trail to the lake. It's not the greatest picture because we forgot our camera and Morri just took it with his phone- but you get the idea.

Carter got a new bike for his birthday this year.

Alex got his bike last year for his birthday and he got his camelback this year.

Addi picked out her Little Mermaid bike last year for her birthday too.

Uppercase Living

These are all my Uppercase Living Expressions I have in my house. If you think it's a little out of control Morri does too. I just love it so much that instead of jeopardizing my marriage by covering my whole house with vinyl lettering I decided to become an Uppercase Living Independent Demonstrator and help other women jeopardize their marriages. I've been doing it for about four months now and I really like it. I never thought I would do something like this but it is so fun and easy.

This is my way of living with a cupboard door that I think is way to big and stupid. Now it's cute.

Martins Cove

In June Morri, Liza, Carter and Alex all went with our ward to Martin's Cove in Wyoming for the Pioneer Trek. It was a wonderful experience and helped all of us have a better understanding of all our Pioneer Heritage sacrificed to come to Utah.Morri checking out Independence Rock where you can still see the names that many pioneers carved here when traveling west.
